Thursday 17th, March 2011

BM: Why do you think you should be a BlackMen Magazine Model?

NG: I’m right for this issue.

BM: Did you market yourself to fans on

NG: Yes, I did.

BM: Were you always this amazingly curvy?

NG: When I was younger I used to be more petite, but I’ve always had curves.

BM: What disadvantages do you feel you have as an urban model?

NG: None.

BM: Do you think that having size 40 or more hips inhibits most models?

NG: Not at all, your career is determined by the drive you have for your career.

BM: Do you have a commercial head shot?

NG: Yes I have a commercial headshot.

BM: So you understand that without these things on your resume that you career, if any, might be short?

NG: Yes.

BM: Favorite drink?

NG: I love Italian dessert wines.

BM: Favorite food?

NG: I like all kinds of foods. I’m very fond of Jamaican cuisine.

BM: Mood music?

NG: My kind of mood music is R&B, I still groove with R. Kelly, Silk and Blackstreet, to name a few back in the day artists.

BM: Favorite vacation spot?

NG: My favorite vacation spot is Hawaii, luv it.

BM: Favorite place to be kissed?

NG: My neck.

BM: Favorite body part on your man?

NG: There are a few things, but to name one the chest.

BM: Favorite place to kiss him?

NG: Slowly and passionately on the side of his lips.

BM: How often do you measure yourself?

NG: My trainer measures me once a month.

BM: Are you proud of your curves?

NG: Yes I love me some me. I love every curve I own.

BM: What curvaceous celebrity do you identify as role model for success?

NG: Kerry Washington and Halle Berry.

BM: Have you invested money into your career?

NG: Every day I invest money into my career, from my trainer to the hottest pair of pumps at that time. This career is about looking good and maintaining that.

BM: Do or would you work a 9 to 5 until your career took off?

NG: Yes, I do work a 9 to 5. There is nothing wrong with working hard to get where you want to be in life.

BM: If you had an agent, would you refer all assignments to them as in your agreement, or do you feel you should take some work without informing them?

NG: I make sure my agent is very much engaged in every career opportunity that comes my way. An agent’s job is to market and get the best end result possible and that something an agent is skilled in. I'm the talent, and that’s my focus. Being the best that I can be at what I’m doing."

BM: How do you feel about magazines like Elle and Vogue, do you think they should feature more curvaceous women?

NG: I think they should display a more realistic body type instead of “stick figures”. But then again that’s why there’s so many magazines, for all types of models and looks that cater to a particular crowd.

BM: How do you plan to change the game?

NG: By becoming successful with what I am doing.
