BM: Why do you think you should be a BlackMen Magazine model?

KJ: I think I should be a BlackMen’s Model because I have the look and the naturally unique body that grabs the eyes of magazine customers.

 

 

BM: Did you market yourself on www.blackmendigital.com.?

KJ: Yes, I did.

 

 

BM: Were you always this amazingly curvy?

KJ: I became curvy in 2005/2006. After my first year in college.

 

 

BM: What disadvantage do you feel you have as an urban model?

KJ: The only disadvantage I can see is my height. At 5’4, I’m rather short.

 

 

BM: Do you think that having size 40 or more hips inhibits most models?

KJ: No, I think that their beauty is the key.

 

 

BM: Where do you train if you are acting?

KJ: I’m not acting yet.

 

 

BM: Do you have a commercial head shot?

KJ: Yes.

 

 

BM: Do you understand that without these things on your resume that your career if any, might be short?

KJ: Yes, I understand that. That’s why I’m going to make sure to do all the things I need to do to further my career.

 

 

BM: Favorite Drink?

KJ: Peach soda.

 

 

BM: Favorite Food?

KJ: Jambalaya and broiled Crawfish.

 

 

BM: Mood Music?

KJ: R&B.

 

 

BM: Favorite vacation spot?

KJ: Bahamas.

 

 

BM: Favorite place to be kissed?

KJ: My stomach.

 

 

BM: Favorite body part on your man?

KJ: Stomach and abs.

 

 

BM: Favorite place to kiss him?

KJ: Chest and back.

 

 

BM: How often do you measure yourself?

KJ: Once a month.

 

 

BM: What curvaceous celebrity do you identify with as a role model for success?

KJ: Nicki Minaj is the one I admire.

 

 

BM: Have you invested money into your career?

KJ: Yes, with my website that’s coming soon and I take trips to market myself.

 

 

BM: Do you or would you take a 9 to 5 until your career took off?

KJ: Yes I would, that would be my motivation.

 

 

BM: If you had an agent, would you refer all assignments to them as in your agreement, or do you feel that you should take some work without informing them?

KJ: I would go through them and if I get work without them I would still let them know.

 

 

BM: How do you feel about magazines like Elle and Vogue?  Do you think they should feature more curvaceous woman?

KJ: Yes, because they have customers of all shapes and sizes and curvy woman should be featured too.

 

 

BM: How do you plan to change the game?

KJ: I plan to change the game because I’m bringing a real southern Dirty South to the world. All natural curves and the look that’s needed.
