NY Daily News:

No one was harmed during a shooting outside the Supper Club early Monday morning. But one person was killed and four were injured at the Monalizza Restaurant early Sunday morning, and one was stabbed at Lure Friday night. Black Entertainment Television says the Los Angeles parties were not officially associated with the ceremony hosted by Chris Rock Sunday night.

The Black Entertainment Television Awards is distancing itself from the violence that erupted at several parties for people attending the ceremony Sunday night.

The events were not sanctioned by BET.

The most recent shooting reportedly broke out about 2:30 a.m. Monday outside the Supper Club on Hollywood Boulevard. TMZ reports that many famous rappers were in the club at the time, including Busta Rhymes, Game, Meek Mil and T-Pain.

No one was injured and the shooter escaped.

Early Sunday morning, about 5:17 a.m., one person was killed and four others were injured in a separate shooting at the Monalizza Restaurant and Banquet in East Hollywood, the Los Angeles Police Department said. It was not immediately clear whether the gunman attended the party or shot from outside the venue, police said.

That shooter also escaped.

Similarly, on Friday night, a man in his 30s was reportedly stabbed in the stomach at a club in Hollywood called Lure, reported local station KNBC. He is in stable condition at a nearby hospital and expected to survive.

"The two isolated incidents over the weekend occurred at locations with events that were unauthorized and unaffiliated with the BET Awards," reads a statement obtained by the Los Angeles Times.

"Security remains the number one priority for all official BET events and the network and all organizers will continue to maintain a safe environment for all planned activities."

Authorities were not yet sure what led to the shootings or stabbing. No arrests have been made.
